Ordered a meal for two ($23) and requested it done well / crispy - fish was cooked well and yummy. Chips could've been cooked more but that's a personal preference! Waited 15 minutes on a Tues evening.
Was hesitant after reading other google reviews but glad I committed. The staff are only human, perhaps try to rectify it with the business first before complaining here.

The fish and chips were decent, but the little note on the packet made my night (and made the meal taste even better). Thank you, I needed a smile.

Is it the best fish and chips I've ever had, probably not. But it's great value for money. There dinner for 2 is about $23 from memory and it fills me and my partner up with leftovers the next day. Wait time tends to be about 15ish minutes but don't mind if it's fresh and hot.

Lee does an excellent job offering generally great snapper, curry sauce and mushy peas. Possibly still the best value locally, but the prices have gone up extraordinarily of recent times. To be fair, everything's more expensive nowadays! Lee used to show gratitude by throwing in a few potato scallops with your order for free, but even that seems to have stopped. I used be able to to order online and pay in the shop, but now you're forced to pay via a merchant service with a $2 surcharge!... Ouch!
You'll laugh at this but, I wish when I ask them for salt & vinegar and NOT to put chicken salt on - they would actually read the notes and NOT put chicken salt on!! They seem to get this wrong most of the time. I even checked last night that they didn't use chicken salt, she confirmed they didn't - but they did. By the time you discover this, no one has the energy to take them back :-(
